Frische Luft ist dafür bekannt, den Kopf frei zu machen, was in den Pausen von besonderer Bedeutung ist. Entsprechend viel Platz nimmt unser Pausenhof mit seiner Vielzahl an Bäumen und Sitzgelegenheiten ein. Viele Schüler schätzen ihn auch, weil der Spaß hierbei nicht zu kurz kommt. Die drei Tischtennisplatten und das Basketballspielfeld sowie die verfügbaren Bälle sind in den Pausen sehr gefragt. Jedoch ist auch Vorsicht geboten, da sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Basketballfelds Stellplätze für Fahr- bzw. Motorräder befinden.

Die künstlerische Ader unserer Schulgemeinschaft spiegelt sich in der Marmorinstallation in Mensanähe wider. Die abstrakten Motive und geschwungenen Formen wissen zu beeindrucken und haben bereits als Kulisse für zahlreiche Klassenfotos gedient.

Doch auch für Veranstaltungen im Freien ist unser Pausenhof ideal. Er dient als Schauplatz vieler Abistreiche, das Amphitheater zur Mensa hin eignet sich hervorragend für Freiluftkinos und Kleinkonzerte und zum Ausklang des Schuljahres findet hier unser jährliches Sommerfest statt.¹⁸ Mit einer großen kulinarischen Auswahl, musikalischem Angebot und choreographischen Einlagen gibt sich die Schulgemeinschaft zum Besten und lockt eine Vielzahl an Eltern und Freunde der Schule an unser Gymnasium.

Fresh air is known to clear the mind, which is especially important during breaks. That’s why our school courtyard, with its many trees and seating areas, takes up a significant amount of space. A lot of students really appreciate it because there are plenty of fun things to do. For instance, we’ve got three ping pong tables and a basketball court. The foot- and basketballs are super popular during breaks. But if you want to play outside, you have to be a bit careful because of the parking spaces for bicycles and motorcycles near the basketball court.

The artistic side of our school community is reflected in the marble installation near the cafeteria. The abstract designs and curved shapes are fascinating and have served as the backdrop for numerous class photos.

Our schoolyard is also great for outdoor events. The amphitheater facing the cafeteria is perfect for open-air theater and small concerts, not to mention our annual summer festival at the end of the school year. With a wide range of food, musical performances, and dance routines, our school community puts on a great show and attracts lots of parents as well as their kids who are interested in attending our school in the future.
